President Trump has been promising a vaccine before Election Day raising concerns that the Administration could exert pressure for a vaccine to be approved before safety has been proven. This led to nine major pharmaceutical companies currently working on a vaccine to step forward and sign a pledge that they will be led by science not politics. 


One of the companies AstraZeneca passed its global tries after a participant experienced a serious illness. They have not established whether or not this was due to the vaccine yet.

President Trump is currently being sued  for defamation by E. Jean Carroll, who accused him of raping her in the 1990s. Now, in an unprecedented move, the Department of Justice is attempting to replace his personal lawyers and represent President Trump alleging the defamation claim occurred while Trump was in office and therefore it’s really a claim against the government.

More than 2.2 million acres have burned in California this year and the Cree fire is still 0% controlled. 


Protests continue in Rochester, NY, after video was released of the death of Daniel Prude, a Black man who was suffocated by officers. The Chief of Police and the rest of the police leadership has now resigned but the protestors are also demanding the resignation of the mayor.
