Nightly Nuance - August 3, 2020

Let's talk about the state of childcare (not good) and two bills passed in the House to help. 

**Next week, we are making some changes to Patreon and wanted to let you know. I'll include this message in the Nightly Nuance each day this week to be sure that everyone has the information. 

      The Nightly Nuance has been a benefit for $25 patrons that we temporarily extended to everyone as a means to process Covid-19 quarantine together. 

      We would like to continue to make the Nightly Nuance available to as many listeners as possible. Beginning next week, the Monday-Wednesday Nightly Nuance will be available to members at the $15 level of support and up. The Thursday Nightly Nuance will be available to members at the $5 level of support and up. 

   We have been working on cataloguing all of our prior Nightly Nuances and opening those files up to members at ALL levels of support. We will update that back catalog every six months--which means that all members at all levels of support will be able to access old Nightly Nuances. To help you (and us!) know what exists in that back catalog, Beth is working on a spreadsheet and tagging for old episodes. Thank you in advance for your patience as I continue to build this out and open up old episodes -- it's a slow process, but it will be worth it! 

    We know most of you do not choose your level of support based on benefits but based on the value you place on Pantsuit Politics in your lives, and for that we are truly grateful. We talk to people in the podcasting industry all the time who don't understand how our show is sustainable, and we remind them and us that we exist because you want us to. Thank you so much for that!
