Luke 1:57-66 - The Mercy That Makes Us Merry

As Zacharias and Elizabeth awaited the birth of their first child in their advanced years, there's much they could've been miserable about leading up to the first Christmas. Late-stage pregnancy pains and a lingering curse of muteness for unbelief could have easily been the focus of their attention and the loss of their joy. But they found merriness in the mercy of God - a mercy which is available for all of us as we, too, prepare to celebrate Christmas.
