New music on vinyl records for January 8, 2021, features a great roster of talented artists. That starts with two Talking Heads releases - SPEAKING IN TONGUES and the live album THE NAME OF THIS BAND IS TALKING HEADS. Also in the mix, is three albums from Seether all on colored vinyl, and HYPERSPACE by Beck on black vinyl which sounds so much better than the silver vinyl version.

In the News: Vinyl records sales in 2020 were up 50% from 2019; Harry Styles and Billie Eilish (and Queen) should get partial credit for the increase in vinyl album sales; New Mobile Fidelity One-Step and a new Imprex 1STEP.

Coming Soon: Don't fun make, yet could Blackpink send vinyl record sales skyrocketing further? This all-girl Korean pop group has a vinyl release scheduled for January 29th, 2021.

Vinyl Record of the Week: RICKY SINGS AGAIN may not have "Hello Mary Lou" on it, yet this Mobile Fidelity vinyl by Ricky Nelson is still pretty sweet.
