Al Fadi and Rob Christian discuss how a chain of people contributed to the Hafs Quran.  His full name is Hafs Ibn Suleiman Al Bazzaz.  He was known by Islamic sources by copying other people books and that he was a liar. Among the people that influenced his version are Zeid, Ubai Ibn Kaeb, Ibn Masoud and Asim (who was blind and had problem with memory).  Ibn Massoud was trusted the most by the prophet Mohammad, but his version was not chosen by Othman, and his version does not match today's Quran .
