St. Peters Peacocks Audio Diary

This weekend, all of New Jersey went crazy watching the amazing run by the St. Peters Peacocks in the NCAA Tournament. They took it further than anyone thought. They did it with style and toughness and grit. It was one of the most New Jersey stories that's ever unfolded, and we all got to watch it in real time.

Well, we chronicled it in real time as well. I recorded audio before, during, and after both games this weekend. We cover the legend of Shaheen Holloway and how he has become one of the most iconic Jersey figures of all time during this run. Mike D got equally obsessed with what was happening and broke down the statistical unlikelihood of what we all just saw. Carson took some of the most iconic quotes from this weekend and made them musical, and Carson and Andrea put it all together into this audio mosaic tracking what it was like for 72 magical hours this past weekend when Journal Square, Jersey City, and the Garden State as a whole took to the basketball court and threw some punches that bloodied up the mouths of bigger, better, richer teams.
