COVID-19 has put a temporary halt on the sports world, but the NFL plans on playing its 2020 season this fall. Dr. Fauci was interviewed about what a return to football would look like, saying that as long as players sign waivers saying the organization is not liable if they contract the virus, the NFL should be able to resume. Also, Dr. Fauci thinks if a player is tested positive in-season, it would not shut down the entire league.
