Today's review needs no introduction, it has been a PC staple point for decades; it built and continuously represented the PC gaming FPS genre. Today we are reviewing Ultimate Doom, by id Software on Steam.
We remember going to my local thrift-shop and purchasing floppy disks with Doom on them, they were the shareware version and sealed in a plastic baggies. It's also where we learned about Raptor, Jazz Jackrabbit, and many other great classics.
But today's Doom is a slightly updated version of that original classic, with new menus, more features, and overall a solid playing experience. So, enough talking, let's lock and load!
Steam Description:
The complete megahit game that set the world afire. Plus All-New Episode IV: Thy Flesh Consumed. The demons came and the marines died. Except one. You are the last defense against these hell-spawned hordes. Prepare for the most intense mutant-laden, blood-splattered action ever!
