Season Three, Episode #11: How Do You Recover From A Stroke: Marcia Moran

Marcia Moran is the survivor of a massive stroke that caused her to lose the ability to speak (also known as aphasia) and resulted in limited control over the movement in the right half of her body. But, these days Marcia isn't just surviving, she is seriously thriving. Thanks to her hard work, the advocacy of her husband on her behalf, and large amounts of time spent with neurologists specializing in EMDR and brain mapping,

Marcia Moran is an outspoken advocate on stroke awareness, the author of Stroke Forward, the autobiography she penned about the process of recovering from a stroke and advocating for proper medical care -- specifically, the medical care and medical practitioners that are right for *you.*
