You can only change what you are aware of; what you go in and change makes you much more aware of where to refine and expand your work. Refining makes learning more enjoyable than rewriting or revising. Academic misconduct arises from students not knowing how to read and write in the discipline. Leaning becomes transformational when you understand how your brain processes information. As a student, the more you practice, the easier it’s for you to transfer what you are learning. Productive struggle is critical; the brain loves to predict. If you’re working hard all day, you need to sleep because that is when your brain is active in terms of memory. It’s not about just studying and practicing; sleep and well-being play a critical role.
