Alexander is a partner of a San-Francisco based deep-tech venture capital fund Ruvento Ventures. There, he specialises on growth-stage AI, robotics and mobility investments in emerging markets and is responsible for late-stage portfolio development and fundraising from European and Asian corporations. Alexander is also an active startup mentor at Techstars, Founder Institute and Skolkovo Foundation.


Previously, he studied finance at Cambridge, worked in pan-European tech-focused investment banking and cross-border private equity funds, where he was involved primarily in arranging exits from portfolio and structuring M&A deals. Alexander has also founded his own business importing exotic wines into British hotels, restaurants and bars and in spare time is an amateur archeologist and a water sports enthusiast.
