When we get in our heads too much, we humans have a habit of finding ways to avoid life.

Shopping for stuff we don’t need...

Endlessly scrolling social media...

Binge-watching Netflix...

Or a host of even LESS positive behaviors.

And while we all need time to unwind every now and then, from time to time, we might find we’re taking our own desire for entertainment and escape a little bit too far.

You can tell when it’s happening, too, because you start to feel guilty.

Like you know you could be doing something more meaningful with that time... but as embarrassing and confusing as it seems, you just can’t seem to bring yourself to do all the things your best self really wants to do.
