In response to a very kind listener’s call, we talk about the music that near-death experiencers hear in the spirit world. Lani Leary, whose experience we shared in a previous episode, heard beautiful music in heaven, and some time after her return found herself mesmerized by the work of Iasos in a piece he wrote called Angels of Comfort.

Stewart Sharp had a shared-death experience, in which he heard remarkably beautiful music. In that vision, he was told that he would be gifted with a memory of every note and nuance of the music he’d heard. Not being a musician, when he returned, he decided he’d better start learning how to write music. The resulting musical work is called, Angeli Symphony.

Finally, Steve Roach had a near-death experience, and set out to share the music he heard in his experience. Gilles Bedard also had a near-death experience, in which he was told to bring the music of heaven to earth. When Gilles came across Steve Roach’s piece called Structures from Silence, he recognized it as what he’d heard on the other side.

In this episode, we share these stories and a sample of the music that resulted.
