As part of our NEA Big Read celebration of Madeline Miller's "Circe," the Chattahoochee Valley Libraries are pleased to present this introduction to Homer's "The Odyssey" by poet and playwright Carey Scott Wilkerson. Dr. Wilkerson will offer his appreciation of the cultural importance of "The Odyssey" to western civilization. NEA Big Read is a program of the National Endowment for the Arts in partnership with Arts Midwest. It is presented under the auspices of the Chattahoochee Valley Libraries, with local sponsorship provided by the Muscogee County Friends of Libraries.
