Welcome, and thank you for joining us for worship!

The worship team calls us to worship with the Word and the worship team joyously leads us in song. Ruling Elder Jeff Brauch leads us in the a corporate Confession of Sin and prayer. Pastor Jeff Elliott continues our sermon series on the Sermon on the Mount and is preaching from Matthew 5:21-26.

While we are able to meet together under limited circumstances, not everyone is able to worship with us in person. We know that this live stream is no replacement for being together, and look forward to being able worship corporately in safety. We continue to hope everyone is safe and/or recovering well.

We now have virtual Sunday School following the worship service. Click here or press the button below the video to see our Sunday School offerings and to find out how you can join us.

Finally, please click here or press the button below the video to visit our online giving tool. We cannot collect tithes and offerings as we normally do, but we want to make sure you still have a way to answer God’s call to be good stewards and to give.

We give special thanks to the worship team for all of their hard work in preparing and leading us in song this morning. Thanks to Jeffery Brauch, Josh Escamilla, Carolyn Kennedy, and Caitlyn Morris.

Matthew 5:21-26 English Standard VersionAnger

21 “You have heard that it was said to those of old, ‘You shall not murder; and whoever murders will be liable to judgment.’ 22 But I say to you that everyone who is angry with his brother will be liable to judgment; whoever insults his brother will be liable to the council; and whoever says, ‘You fool!’ will be liable to the hell of fire. 23 So if you are offering your gift at the altar and there remember that your brother has something against you, 24 leave your gift there before the altar and go. First be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift. 25 Come to terms quickly with your accuser while you are going with him to court, lest your accuser hand you over to the judge, and the judge to the guard, and you be put in prison. 26 Truly, I say to you, you will never get out until you have paid the last penny.
