In this episode, I talk about sharing your cancer diagnosis with others.

A few highlights:

5 Things to Consider When Sharing Your Cancer Diagnosis

1. Think about those who will offer a positive support system.

2. Think about when and how you will share your diagnosis.

3. It is ok to not have the answers or share a lot of details.

4. Don’t feel pressured to share your diagnosis with others that you are not comfortable sharing it with. It is your choice!

5. Talk with someone who has experienced something similar. Cancer is cancer and no one knows like another person who has had to face it!

Leave me a voice message and let me know what you think. I might play your message on an upcoming episode!

About Me:

In 2011, I was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma, out of the blue. I did not have any prior health concerns or issues.

Fast forward, the dreaded cancer diagnosis opened my eyes, introduced me to my purpose, and lead me to where I am today.

As a Cancer Doula, I use my 10-years of experience with cancer to support and guide others diagnosed with cancer. Many people are not familiar with what a cancer doula is. Think of me as a personal health care advocate.
