This episode I wanted to go back to speaking to you solo straight to the mic for the first time in a while. I just wanted to talk today about how we sometimes hold back the truest aspects of our personalities. At this stage in my life, I am comfortable with who I am. Just as you are who you are. Don’t let others dictate who or what you need to be based on what is perceived as the societal norm. If you have an “edge” to you, be who you are and let it out. 

Some of the most successful personalities on social media are effective because they are doing just that. They show who they really are because people recognize and appreciate genuine content. When you combine genuine personality with entertaining content, you add value to people’s lives. Once you’ve added this value to people’s lives, then you should consider marketing to them. They will appreciate your entertaining qualities, they will trust your sincerity and they will ultimately buy into whatever you are selling.
