Tyler's cable conundrum, Jay tries for another home run, and Jeff Jackson Jambalaya

It's Thursday afternoon and the boys have nothing going on, which means there was plenty to talk about on the newest episode of the Real Life Podcast.

Kicking off the podcast, the guys jumped in with a random conversation about alcohol after Baggedmilk told a quick story about having a wonderful bottle of wine over dinner last night. That led the guys to talk about their favourite house beers, their approach to drinking fancy beers, and a whole lot more. Somehow talking about beers and wine led Tyler to talk about fighting with his utilities company to get the best possible deal he can. The guys then wanted to brag about the times they worked themselves a deal. Changing gears, it's Oodle Noodle Make a Wish night at the Riverhawks game and that means another opportunity for Jay to hit another home run at RE/MAX Field. Getting back to the Oilers, the guys spent a few minutes talking about Ryan McLeod's new two-year contract and took a few guesses at what the Oilers will do with the Evan Bouchard contract. They also discussed the Oilers hiring Jeff Jackson as their new CEO of Hockey Operations and whether having him in the organization is the next step to keeping Connor McDavid around.
