Between 2010 and 2020 women only made up 16% of all UK IT professionals. Additionally the shortfall in cyber security skills professionals dropped from 4.07 million last year but still remains at a surprisingly huge 3.12 million in 2020.

Can a solution be found to these two problems through gender diversity?

Natilik's women in technology works to contribute to the industry wide conversation on gender diversity and the empowerment of women in the technology sector in order to support a gender-diverse future for tech.

In today's episode the community leaders Emma Simpkin and Hayley Knott are joined by Joanne Smith, Placements and Employer Engagement Manager at Anglia Ruskin University and Stuart Taylor, Channel Director at Palo Alto Networks.

They discuss this and much more in detail with reference to the recent UK Government study into CyberSecurity Skills which you can find here
