Meet filmmakers Kim MacQuarrie and Ciara Byrne, the founders of Green Our Planet. Together, with the wisdom and guidance of Dr. Richard Leakey (who is a hugely important anthropoligist and wildlife conservationist), they are bringing gardens to classrooms around the world and standards-based STEM curriculum (for free) for teachers.
Green Our Planet crowdfunds money for green projects and to educate the public about the most pressing environmental issues facing the planet today. Their overall goal is to help conserve, protect, and improve the environment through funding green projects and through education, which includes STEM, nutrition and conservation education in K-12 schools.
