When the auditors conspire to assassinate the Hogfather, on Hogswatch eve no less, it is up to Death to step into his boots and deliver presents to all the children on the Disc. But with all the spare belief left over from the Hogfather's disappearance, new household gods are popping up and things are getting a little weird. Its going to require the talents of Death's granddaughter Susan, a team of wizards, an oh god, a rat, and a raven to figure out what happened to the Hogfather and save Hogswatch!
