Nesa Azadikhah (1984) is a Tehran-based DJ, music producer, composer, sound artist, and musician. From playing tonbak and daf at the age of six to DJing at the age of sixteen in underground dance circles, she has established herself as one of Tehran’s most in-demand electronic music and sound artists and composers around.

As the owner and managing director of Deep House Tehran she promotes Iranian electronic musicians. Her monthly podcasts (deep house, electronic, techno, tech-house) can be accessed on RJ radio MI4L. Her work debuted on Community Music is For Lovers (June, 2015) and Electronic Grooves (Sept, 2015) and her sound pieces played on Resonance 104.4 FM Freelab (10 March 2015). Azadikhah made her broadcast on Frisky Radio (New York) program, Frisky Loves Iran on May 30, 2015 and X-Chrome Shows and Artist Of The Week On Frisky Radio .

As a sound artist she has performed live, improvised and composed music in collaboration with artists at: Nice Drawings, Gallery Isabelle van den Eynde, Dubai, sound piece and collage (Jan 2015); Aghili Gallery, Tehran, live performance (6 Feb, 2015); Foulad art video, Ramin Haeirzadeh, Rokni Haerizadeh, Hesam Rahmanian, Dubai, sound artist and performer, composer, improvised music piece (June, 2014); Every Beginning is But a Continuation Jorjani Gallery (July 2014); Tehran Limited Axes 5, Mohsen Gallery, Tehran, sound artist, live performance (Dec, 2014); Monologue, Khane va Ashpazkhane, popup theatre, Tehran, director: Hassan Madjooni, music composer (Sept, 2013); Abu Dhabi radio, Ramin Haeirzadeh, Rokni Haerizadeh, environmental sound collage composer (Abu Dhabi, 2012).
