On the morning of February 5th, 2015, Tulare County police officer Daniel Green took his son to school and then returned home. While on the toilet, he is shot dead. Police have no gun, eyewitnesses, or DNA evidence. During routine questioning the following day, Daniel’s ex-wife, Erika Sandoval, tells police she hasn’t visited Daniel’s house in weeks, but her story appears to contradict a neighbor’s surveillance footage. Based on the 48 Hours episode "The Killing of Daniel Green.”
