Welcome to our episode for July 17, 2015 and our San Diego Comic-Con 2015 special!

This week we have our big San Diego Comic-Con 2015 roundup with plenty of trailers, links, and news, plus some extras including the Pluto flyby by New Horizons, Emmy nominations, and much more. Obviously this week is a bit video heavy and full of news that could have made the entire episode Talk Nerdy to Me. Let us know what you think down in the comments or if we missed anything!

“My Geek Confessions – Watching Bad Movies, So You Don’t Have To!”

During SDCC, WB and DC premiered a new trailer for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice trailer and then released it online. Shortly thereafter, they also premiered the trailer for Suicide Squad, though that was intended to be a SDCC exclusive. It was leaked and swarmed the internet, and while WB tried to force the videos to be taken down, they ultimately gave up and released the trailer online. But instead of trying to be cool about it (ala Marvel and saying “Dammit Hydra”) the head of WB berated the con goers and the intended audience and saying how it was meant to be an exclusive, which robbed any positive PR around it’s release. Admittedly, we feel that limiting a lot of these trailers to just SDCC goers is misguided anyway as only 130,000 are able to attend and far less than that are capable of getting into Hall H (around 6,000 people) and should be made more easily available once SDCC is over. But in this case it may not matter, as both the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice trailer and Suicide Squad trailer seemed rather unimpressive. Let us know in the comments what you think. One trailer that we are really excited about is for Ash vs Evil Dead on Starz. It’s going to premiere on Halloween later this year. But this totally seem like this continues a lot of the humor and horror that the Evil Dead movies had. Plus it has Lucy Lawless in it as well which just makes it better!AMC premiered a trailer for Fear the Walking Dead which premieres August 23 on AMC. This is a Walking Dead spinoff series that shows the world as the zombies start to rise.We reported a few weeks ago that the Tonight Show had to cancel one of his episodes before he took a break because of a terrible finger injury. Now that he’s back, Jimmy Fallon explains his finger injury, a Ring Avulsion. It sounds absolutely terrible and lucky that he actually still has his finger! Be careful of those rings everyone!Neil deGrasse Tyson and Stephen Colbert geek out about the New Horizons flyby Pluto. It’s been awhile since we featured Epic Rap Battles of History, but this one is pretty epic as it has Eastern Philosophers vs Western Philosophers competing against each other while also still espousing all their different philosophies. We’ve been fans of 50% Off for a while now, so we were excited to hear that Octopimp and Sparky made it into the Free! Eternal Summer dub even as minor characters. Way to go guys!http://octosmagiccastle.tumblr.com/post/123582529657/so-now-that-the-free-eternal-summer-dub-is

We have a link below for the epic DubSmash Wars between Agent Carter and Agents of SHIELD but here are some of our favorites that we wanted to feature.
