Key notes from Jonathon's Disney Timeline:

2006 or 2007 – Jonathon went to Magic Kingdom for the first time as an adult.

A few years later, they took their honeymoon at Walt Disney World and made Disney their annual vacation. They started looking at moderate resorts but really couldn't afford the costs. After attending a DVC presentation, they bought in at Saratoga Springs. Jonathan worked the math; it looked like DVC would be about $100 or $200 more than staying at a value resort per year over the course of the entire contract. Jonathan also realized that the blue card discount on merchandise, meals, and annual passes more than makes up for the price difference.

2012 – Joined DVC as a Direct member at Saratoga Springs.

2012 – Small 50 Point addon at Animal Kingdom

2014 – Purchased at addon contract at Aulani on a Disney Cruise so that they could get a free brunch at Palo and a DVC tote bag.

2021 – Launched Captain's Log and Lightsabers Podcast
