#039 Theta Kavka

Welcome to 2020 and this year we're starting with talented Dj, Theta Kavka, who is one of those local heroes, who keeps building up a local electronic music scene in his hometown. After years of school band memberships and music engineer studies, he slighted into the clubbing world by doing visuals and lights for his friends party. He started working in a local Club and became very familiar with DJ gear by repairing broke technics, mixers and stuff. So with all this gear in his front and the club keys in his pocket, he started spinning some records and learned how to mix them well. His knowledge in electronics and his creativity about building up fancy club decorations made him a well known part of the local club culture. In Summer 2017, Theta Kavka began building up his own event row named Elektronischer Querschnitt. He makes people work together and created a nice crew out of his party friendships. After some nice partys, he decided to quit his club job to become bird free. Without flying that high, he landed at fusion festival building the palapa stage with the Wanderzirkus crew. Now he’s giving us this podcast, which he describes as follow: First something to think about, then some to get high on, followed by something to get out of bed, then some Russian conspiracy shit, followed by a groove to forget the Russian thing, up to music he hear while playing gta, straight into a serious message about passion, back to danceable club music, shakin shakin shakin and finally something to chill and let all the last hour stress behind.
