My guest in this episode is one of my ACL Festival Buddy's , a delightful, charming man called Michael Sullivan

Born in Sacremento, California in 1971 Michael has cornered the market in only living in places that begin with the letter "S" having subsequently moved to Santa Barbara , San Francisco and in 2001 Seattle. In that journey music has been a constant companion starting in his early childhood when his step father indulged in his passion for music , hi-fi and technology on a Friday night and his mother bought him a Fisher Price Record Player (of which I am very jealous)

At one point in this episode I say to Michael " You will listen to anything won’t you" and that is absolutely meant as a compliment as he has one of the most open musical minds I have met. And if he likes something then he goes deep. That is reflected in the title of this episode which summarises the three things that Michael gets from his music: Connection, Experiences and Scholarship.

I hope you get some of that from listening to this episode.
