058. It's All Connecting ft. Toby Morrell of Emery

We have another exciting episode this week! We’re joined by THE Frontman of Emery, Toby Morrell! Even though we named him the Front Man of Emery we give Devin Shelton (the other singer of Emery) some credit by giving him the title of just “The Man”! Toby is a great and entertaining guest that you will not want to miss!

Toby is showing off a band this week that had a HUGE influence on him personally when it comes to listening to and writing music! We get to hear some great insight on how this band was discovered and even about the songs themselves. You can hear the excitement in the air even if Toby is calling this music slow and droning.

We had a great conversation on what the music industry is today and how things have changed even in the past 5 to 10 years! The question is, what will the future look like? What will a band that forms in this year of 2019 look like 5 to 10 years from now? Is the digital age killing the music industry? Does it seem like things just aren’t as personal as they used to be?
