Welcome to the MUSEA Podcast!

This episode features photographer Ashleigh Coleman. She documents her surroundings, her family, and weddings. Her work gives you a sense of a place. By looking at her images you understand what it must be like to be there and she makes the familiar unfamiliar. Much of her work takes place in Mississippi where she documents buildings, landscapes and the people near her home.

We talk about the meaning behind her images, how she balances photography and family, and why she captures the commonplace in a new way.
