Episode 82: Louise Aitchison. This week Joannagh brings us the story of Louise Aitchison, a 33-year-old woman who was attacked and killed in a domestic abuse incident in March 2020.
We hear details of the previous patterns of domestic violence carried out by her killer, which were not given enough consideration by the police when they were called to the an incident prior to the murder.
Joannagh also tells us of the response to the tragedy, including statements from leading women's charity Refuge and charity activity by Louise's mother Caroline.
