Jane tells Caroline about the disturbing and senseless murder of 15-year-old Becca Oatley. Becca was overjoyed when her ex-boyfriend, Joshua Davies, wanted to reconnect. The two meet up in the woods near his house, but Becca’s mom soon becomes worried when Becca fails to return home that evening. After Becca’s body is found lifeless and battered in the woods the next day, the sinister truth about the monster-that-is Joshua Davies begins to surface.
