On February 20th 2003, the Station Nightclub, in West Warwick, RI caught fire during a concert by the band Great White. Stage fireworks set off by the band quickly ignited flammable foam on the walls. Within 90 seconds the club was a blazing inferno. Anyone who did not escape by then perished in the most horrific way.


In October 2020, Emmy Award winning TV  reporter and author, Scott James published his book TRIAL BY FIRE: A devastating tragedy, 100 lives lost and a 15 year search for the truth. In his book, Mr. James presents vivid accounts of that night through the eyes of survivors. He also presents evidence not seen to date. Some of it, exculpatory to those charged, was not presented to the Grand Jury. He also presents, for the first time, interviews with the principal players surrounding the tragedy. One of his goals in examining this horror was to help us determine…The Station Night Club Fire…Crime or accident. Scott James joins us on Murder Most Foul.
