On this D for Dirty Cops episode we discuss how LAPD officer Stephanie Lazarus was so distraught about her former college booty call moving on with a new woman, that she began stalking his wife Sherri Rasmussen. When Sherri was murdered, the detectives didn’t question Stephanie, even though they were informed about the stalking & recent confrontations. Sherri’s murder would go unsolved for 23 years, until the cold case unit finally matched Stephanie’s DNA to forensics left at the crime scene.
