In this episode, we're talking about the power of self-employment. Many of our super mums who've taken our admin courses have become self-employed contractors and secured clients through their own means.

This is what I did when I started out in the Salesforce ecosystem. So I wanted to explore what it can take to set yourself up as self-employed, what the pros and cons are. And so you can really think about whether self-employment is an option you'd like to pursue.

I’m excited to be exploring this opportunity in more depth with special guest, Megan Himan, CEO and principal of Bright Step Partners.

Here are the highlights from the episode:

{5:17} The emotional journey of an entrepreneur

{7:18} The difference between being a freelance contractor and being a consultant

{11:09} Having the confidence to run your own business

{15:42} The benefits and downsides of working for yourself

{20:03} What to do if you don’t already have a network

{24:29} Growing your team to support your growth

{30:22} Developing your own app for sale
