Tshwane mayor Cilliers Brink says it is important the city explores energy generation options other than Eskom. This come after the Tshwane council recently approved a public participation report for the proposed 40-year lease of the Rooiwal and Pretoria West power stations. Brink was speaking during a media briefing at the Rooiwal power station, near Hammanskraal, to outline the city’s energy master plan.
