In honor of the end of the pandemic era in wrestling, the scholars look at the history and purpose of House Shows.

The Scholars start things by remembering the life of Mr. Wonderful Paul Orndorff, and looking at the possible directions for WWE and AEW creatively now that they’re back on the road (01:00)

Then, the scholars review the Word of the Day: House Show. They look at why house shows were created in the first place, how they differ in presentation from a televised show, recount their personal experiences with house shows, and then recount some of the biggest moments in House Show history, including a truly bonkers riot at a 1997 show in Arkansas (27:40)

Finally, the scholars hop in the Kayfabe 5020 to discuss what Baron Corbin needs to do to change his luck, other outdoor venue spaces that wrestling should consider running shows in, what wrestlers have Dino DNA in their blood, and more! (1:12:20)
