Control Room Ep. 8: Mana Crypt vs. Tormod's Crypt and Why Spending $$$ on MTG Cards Does Not Guarantee Victory in EDH

On this episode of Control Room, Ryan and I discuss why spending big money on the most powerful cards in EDH is not necessary for winning EDH games or having fun. We argue that building budget decks and/or running functional alternatives to format "staples" can still help you win, even if they are not necessarily functionally better than more expensive cards. We also touch on the Reserved List for a bit.
