Ghost Movies: STIR OF ECHOES and THE CHANGELING

We're back with another spooky season episode for you and another pair of great ghost movies to talk about! Going in reverse chronological order this time, we're starting off with a movie that came out in a banger year for movies - 1999 - and this one is no exception. We're talking STIR OF ECHOES, and all the things that make it a fantastic little gem of a ghost movie. Based on a novel by Richard Matheson, and written and directed for the screen by David Koepp, it's got all the talent behind and in front of the camera and we have a great time dissecting why it all works so well. Then we get into a stone cold classic of the ghost genre with 1980's THE CHANGELING starring George C. Scott. This one gives us not only everything we could want from a ghost/haunted house tale, but also a very deep and emotional look at grief in the main character's story.
