Slade Heathcott is a former professional baseball outfielder who was a first-round draft pick by the New York Yankees in the 2009 MLB Draft. Slade has done quite a bit beyond the game of baseball, using his position in the game to “move the ball” and create a better future for minor league ballplayers everywhere. From cleaning up beaches in the Dominican Republic to building an orphanage for kids in Florida, Slade uses baseball as a conduit for the good he sees in the world. Slade is also Director of Operations for More than Baseball.
