In this episode, Joel shares his experiences and insights as an F-15 fighter pilot in the United States Air Force (USAF), his transition to becoming a competitive athlete, his career as a successful tech executive, and how battling Stage IV cancer shifted his perspectives in life.

Listen in as Joel and Jennifer discuss how his time in the military taught him discipline, self-awareness, and the importance of finding a purpose in life. These lessons helped him to develop the competitive athlete mentality, which he used to  compete on American Ninja Warrior on multiple seasons. On the show, Joel also shares how the knowledge and relationships he gained from his MBA program were critical to his success once he left the military and began his journey into the business world.
