Jeremy and Matt are back to preview the Colorado State Rams and their 2017 season. After finishing 7-6 a year ago, Mike Bobo's third year in Fort Collins comes with great expectations: The Rams were among the nation's best teams in the second half of last fall, period, and are in the mix for the Group of Five's spot in a New Year's Day bowl.

CSU's offense is littered with stars, including senior quarterback Nick Stevens, senior receiver Michael Gallup and the three-headed running attack of Dalyn Dawkins, Izzy Matthews and (if he's healthy) Marvin Kinsey Jr. They should be able to put up points on just about anyone.

The big question that remains is whether the defense, which returns eight starters including linebackers Josh Watson and Evan Colorito, can take a step forward. If the Rams can reach their potential on both sides of the ball, their first season in the new on-campus stadium could be a special one.
