On March 18th, 1990, Boston’s Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum was robbed by two thieves dressed as police officers. They made off with 13 famous paintings and sculptures, representing a value of more than $500 million. This remains the largest property theft in the U.S. history, where charges have been avoided for 30 years, by all means necessary.
