What Alison discusses this week

Alison discusses why we resist investing in ourselves when we know in our hearts we need to and want to.

Alison looks at 3 main hurdles of resistance we often meet when we consider investing in ourselves

time – so many of us use the words “we don't have time” or “it is not the right time”. Alison asks how can we afford (in a time sense) not to invest in ourselves? She explains why this may be in terms of coming from a position of fullness rather than emptiness and how this can benefit all of our family

money – Alison talks about the difference between investing and spending and how this can make a huge difference in how we value the investment in ourselves as opposed to spending and

how much we value ourselves which may underpin why we fall back on the first 2 reasons.

Alison talks about how we choose to invest in ourselves in different stages of our lives may change and she explores how this investment may look in our motherhood season.
