Kimberly, Doug and Willie discuss the second to last day of the 2023 General Assembly, during which Kentucky became a shameful leader in anti-LGBTQ+ legislation due to the homophobic, transphobic GOP supermajority. Truly a disgraceful day in the history of our commonwealth as Governor Andy Beshear's compassionate veto of the harmful, hateful SB 150, and its anti-gender affirming healthcare, don't say gay, bathroom bill.

Despite the impressive and wonderful teen-led rally at the capitol, the GOP was immune to the proud, passionate efforts of trans kids and their allies, as reported by Doug who was at the capitol, with Annabel and other Progress Kentucky collaborators.

The Colonels also discuss the status of a number of other vetoes and bills facing the final day of the session.
