Acts 2:42-47 --
With the pouring out of the Holy Spirit, the church begins its growth by the thousands as people heard and believed the news of the resurrected Jesus. As people turned to God in faith, they not only worshipped through the word, prayer, and fellowship, but also through their generosity. We can be challenged as a church to grow in maturity through our giving as we trust in the God who graciously gave us all things through his Son.

Acts 2:42-47

Turning to God in faith transforms us into a new creation -- it changes the way we approach all aspects of our lives. This means that growing in our faith involves the reshaping of our thoughts, attitudes, and regular habits in life. By practicing these transformed habits, we can get a deeper appreciation of who God is and what he is doing in our lives both individually and collectively as a church community.
