The book of Job is necessary because we can all point to times in our life where we did all the right things but got nothing but bad results. What can we learn from a man who did everything right and then lost everything in return? What does Job demand of God? What does God tell Job about why he suffered? And what is Job's response to God in the end?
Job is a heavy book. But it speaks right to the heart of living a life of wisdom and selflessness.
