Previous Episode: Colossians 2:13-15
Next Episode: Colossians 3:1-4

The question of Colossians, which sparked the very writing of the letter, is whether or not Jesus is enough with many misbelieving, “No, you must make up the difference.”
Yet Paul has proclaimed that Christ is all in all. And this is the basis for his direction to not look to other things for our sufficiency.  In this passage, we learn that we cannot trust in our own spiritual achievement, focusing on ourselves. Instead, we should consider and focus on Jesus. He is Supreme. And he is enough.
