Our current reality clearly demonstrates our need for one another. God exists in communion as the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit and He crafted us after Himself with our created purpose being fulfilled amidst community as well. It is in leading life together that we as the Church can be ambassadors for Christ, displaying the perfect magnitude of His passion, glory, and gifts to a world in need of Him.
With Christ as the head, we—His body the Church—are made up of many parts; all invited and empowered to fulfill His mission. Jesus prayed that we may be one. Not only is this the way we spur one another on; it’s essential for our growth in Christ.
