If you own property in Vancouver, get ready to pay more taxes. Later today City Council considers a property tax hike of just under 5%. Vancouver Mayor Kennedy Stewart discussed the tax increase while speaking with Global News reporter Grace Ke.

 

Rebecca Bligh is an NPA city councillor, and she says that most Vancouver residents cannot afford this tax increase. She joins to discus why, and what she plans to do about it at today’s city hall meeting.
