US President, Donald Trump, says his country was fully prepared to retaliate against Iran last night, but cancelled military strikes 10 minutes before they were to be carried out. Trump tweeted that he's in no hurry to respond to the downing of a US surveillance drone. The US says the drone was in international airspace when it was shot down. Tehran says it had violated Iranian airspace.
